Troubleshooting
  • Specific problems:
    • Click sounds on touch, but no cursor movement
      • If a mouse is already installed, run regedit; drill down to HKey_Local_Machine, System, CurrentControlSet, Services, MMStub; change the Start key from 1 to 0; reboot.
    • Cursor moves but will not select
    • Calibration problems
    • Event log error messages
    • Touchscreen drivers interfere with USB devices
    • Click sounds on touch, but no cursor movement
      • If a mouse is not connected, connect a mouse, reboot and try again (mouse may be removed after touch drivers are installed)
      • Run regedit; drill down to HKey_Local_Machine, System, CurrentControlSet, Services, MMStub; change the Start key from 1 to 0; reboot.
